The beautiful seafront promenade, Paseo Maritimo, runs from Playamar along to La Carihuela, continuing as far as Benalmadena Marina.
The attractive and more authentically Spanish area of La Carihuela, where the apartment is located, is a charming area to the west of Torremolinos and close to the famous harbour of Benalmádena.
Walking along the Paseo Maritimo from La Carihuela to the centre of Torremolinos or to Benalmádena you’ll find all kind of shops, exclusive boutiques and gift shops. terraces, tapas bars and excellent seafront fish restaurants.
At the heart of the town is the pedestrian Calle San Miguel, the main artery of the town.
This street is lined with boutiques and shops with a great variety of goods on offer.

Beaches
You won't be disappointed by Torremolinos's beaches as they are clean and sandy and tend to be wider and longer than many others on the Costa del Sol. For the sun worshippers there is always some space to be found to lie and soak up the sun. All along the beaches there are numerous water sports and activities available such as windsurfing, paragliding and water-skiing.

Water Park Torremolinos
Aqualand Torremolinos is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol. There are a host of rides for all the family to enjoy; including the Kamikaze, Black-hole, Twister, Crazy-race, Rapids and the all new Boomerang. Also a multitude of swimming pools, lazy river, wave machine and a 18 hole mini golf are included in the entrance fee.

Tivoli World Amusement Park & Benalmádena Aerial Cable Car
The largest theme park/amusement park on the Costa del Sol is Tivoli World; in Benalmadena, near Torremolinos. There you’ll find a wide variety of shows in each of the parks themed areas named Wester square, Andalusian square, and Tivolandia. In addition to the shows there are over 30 rides to be enjoyed, a theatre, extensive gardens, mini train and a Jurassic adventure.

Next to the Tivoli amusement park you’ll find another spectacular attraction the Aerial Cable Car of Benalmádena, also known as the “telecabina”. While travelling to the peak of Mount Calamorro in about fifteen minutes, you have the opportunity to enjoy the most exceptional views on the Costa del Sol. Arriving at the top, the landscape is enormous and on a clear day you can see the coast of the African continent. There are perfectly marked paths for trail walking or trips by mountain bike. Some other surprises are a exhibition of birds of prey, with falcons, eagles, etc. and a Spanish dressage exhibitions in a horse riding school.
